The wood will be reclaimed by wind and water, then recycled through sea and shore to be used by another builder for a new structure. The compositions never last long, so be sure to take a photo before it falls and floats out on the tide. While you can't take it with you, you can use it to create driftwood sculptures you leave behind. You'll see lots of driftwood on the beach.
